Corrugated of Alabama is a unique complex of 17 apartments designed and built by Robert Faust, Auburn University Alumni Professor, who served on the School of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture faculty for more than 35 years. The immediate future of this complex is uncertain and its legacy threatened. This research project documents the historical development, unique construction process, and design-build strategies used by Faust. Final deliverables include a video interviewing  Robert Faust and a website documenting the research. Videotaping was interrupted by Faust’s poor health and the onset of Covid-19. Interviews are now completely halted by the unfortunate passing of Robert Faust this past year. Additional digital media will be obtained as conditions allows us to revisit the Faust home.
